💫 Deltoids, triceps and biceps... ladies... many women tend to focus only their lower body (just like I see some men who tend to focus only on their pecs, arms, glutes, forgeting their calf muscles 😬). It’s all a question of proportion. Remember to work your entire body out even those parts you don’t really like training. This week or month why not take the time to research what you are eating and See what benefits, vitamins and minerals are in your plate. 💫Embracing Change! I am not saying that we should change everything... but it’s fun to bring variety into your life. Change the way you dress.. don’t always wear the same things, change your style a bit.. be a little daring. Change your routine around.. try things you have never done before: rock climbing, classical music concert, go to a conference, buy a book about a topic you don’t about but have always wanted to look into.. Brig changes to your kitchen and table. Try new flavors, new textures etc. Get in the habit every week to buy something you have never tasted before (or cooked differently). Plus it’s fun to shop around for something new.. what will I find this time. Don’t buy a lot.. one fruit or vegetable the first time.. and try. Look up ways to prepare it but as much as possible try it completely natural to get a sense of its real taste. This week I found these little guys: ever had a Nergi before?🤣😂🤣😅 I hadn’t. They are mini kiwis (the size of a cherry tomato. No peeling. I enjoyed it. 💫Not everybody will understand or approve your path or your choices. We often spend a lot of time worrying about what others will think. I will never tell you « who cares what others think » because it’s normal to want other people’s approval (our parents, our friends, our peers..) to want to fit in.. But sometimes we make decisions according to what we are going through, how much we can handle, just struggling to do the best we can at that given moment . 💫Friends... let’s just take a moment. I bumped into a « friend » the other day. I hadn’t seen her in a while. And she said that she saw I was struggling through hard times last year when we last saw each other and she figured I needed some alone time... What can you do aside from smile... The good thing about going through tough times is that I know who my real friends are now.. those who stuck by me the past few years, caring, calling, accepting to see me even when I was down and not 100%, bubbly and full of smiles. Many of us are often too busy to find time to take care of themselves. But it’s important to make the time to feel good about yourself. Make a list of all the easy things you can do daily to feel better, to be prettier, to improve how you feel about yourself and do them. It can be going for a walk, meditating, doing a hair mask, reading a book about nutrition, watching a you tube video about self confidence, having a tall fruit and vegetable juice, making sure you eliminate daily, giving a hug, doing something you love to do, sleeping an extra 1/2 hour... The list is long. Write your list and try to remember to cross out as many as possible each day!
